2026 Wings on King Autumn Surveys
All participants MUST REGISTER at least one week prior to the event.
Registrations close Thursday 16 April 2026.
Teams are made up of at least one experienced birder or two with medium experience, together with keen to learn others. You can make up your own team or join a team that is compiled by the WoK management and are generally made up of a mix of experienced, non-experienced, visitors to KI and KI locals.

OBP Survey King Island
We will be looking for Orange-bellied Parrots on King Island in April 2026. The main details are here on Wildcare's events page.

If you would like to survey for Orange-bellied Parrots (OBPs) after the Wings on King survey, please email Marianne at friends.of.the.obp@gmail.com before 6 April, letting her know which days you are available (27 and/or 28 and/or 29 April). You would also need to join Wildcare Tasmania as the OBP surveys are run by Friends of the OBP.​
