OPENING: “Birds in Our Lives – Silent Auction’

Saturday 6thApril, 6.30-8.30

Portside Links Gallery, Grassy

Art works up for auction have come from Australian, New Zealand and King Island artists many generously donating 100% of their work to conservation. Artists include such luminaries as Michael Leunig, Simon Denny and Mellissa Smith, with other stunning works contributed by King Island artists including Jason Roberts, Kath Copper, Alison Milsom, Dianne and Andrew Blake. The Silent Auction begins at the opening of the exhibition and runs throughout April, concluding on the 27th at a Gala Windup. Don’t miss out. Cast a bid and have a punt at acquiring a remarkable peace of art for less – or maybe more – than it is worth, simultaneously contributing to the care of King Island. An on-line catelogue will be available from the 6th April. Check here

All funds raised from 2019 FACE will support the ‘Wings on King’ project and conclude the weekend of the Autumn bird surveys. To find out more about Wings on King click here:

Artists depicted here are Alison Milsom and Jason Roberts. The plate features in the 'Off the Wall' exhibition and is not for sale.
